Closure

This is my final post as Christopher Columbus. I found the land I discovered beautiful. I hope my descendants will live in this new land. It is very beautiful, and there is lots of food, shelter, and people. I hope to return to this land wants I tell the continent of Europe about this!

I brought these things back from my voyages from spain to the "West Indies", which in actuality turned out to be portugal.

Interactions with the Natives

Today I met some natives. They say they have been living here for ages. They showed me some of there ways of life. For example, they fish with spears, and hunt with them as well. They even give women a special job to do while the men hunt; foresting. Foresting is when women go out into the forest and search for fruit, mostly berries. I have introduced guns to them, and they seem to be using them more and more.
That was my first incounter with the natives.

Christopher Columbus

My name is Christopher Columbus. I was born either August 25, 1451 or October 31, 1451. I was born in Spain, and this is were I grew up. Before I became an explorer, I had an apprenticeship as a buisiness agent for important Spainish families. I was originaly traveling to India, or trying to reach it, but ended up in the Americas. I went in search for the new land to establish colonies, and also to establish trade routes.
That is some of my backround information.
